Group Discussion
A group discussion is a method used by a company to evaluate certain skills/personality traits in a candidate. In this methodology ,the group of candidates is given a topic or a situation , given a few minutes to think about the same, and then asked to discuss it among themselves for 15-20 minutes.

Companies conduct group discussion after the written test so as to check on the candidates interactive skills and to see how good he is in communicating with other group members, howmuch importance is given to the groups objective, how well he listens to the view points of others and how open minded the candidate is in accepting the views contrary to their own. The aspects which make up a GD are verbal communication, non verbal behavior, conformation to norms, decision making ability and co-operation. In order to train a candidate for a GD it is necessary for him to take several mock GDs to know the errors that he is committing and correct himself. We conduct several mock GDs based on various topics and give detailed feedback to students.
